Quality health coverage is one of the most valuable benefits you’ll enjoy as a Suncoast employee. Our benefit programs offer several plan options to help keep you and your family healthy and also provide important protection in the event of illness or injury.
We offer medical, dental, and vision coverage options to meet your needs. Our employees also get access to MD Live, a healthcare system that provides you on-demand access to US Board Certified doctors, anytime, from anywhere with a phone or internet connection.
Transparency in Coverage
Paid Time Off
Suncoast employees accrue paid time off (PTO) each pay period to use however they would like. The amount of time you earn per paid period is based upon whether you’re a full or part-time employee and how long you’ve been with the company. New full-time employees earn three weeks of PTO in their first year.
Whether you’re going on vacation or simply taking time for yourself, your paid time off is always there for you.
Paid Holidays
In addition to paid time off, Suncoast employees also get 11 paid holidays off annually for each of the federal banking holidays.
The paid holidays are New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Parental Leave
Suncoast employees can receive paid parental leave to bond and care for a newborn, adopted child, or newly placed foster child.
Family time is important, so we’re proud to offer new parents the opportunity to enjoy every precious moment!
Retirement Plans
As a financial institution, we understand the importance of retirement planning to make sure that employees can create the future of their dreams.
That’s why we offer a 401(k) retirement plan that allows employees to be 100% vested in all 401(k) contributions. This means you own the full balance of your 401(k), including the employer match! Suncoast matches employee contributions up to 6%, and then matches an additional 0.5% up to 10% after that.
Degree Assistance Program
Suncoast provides the opportunity for degree assistance to eligible employees who are interested in pursuing a degree with an accredited school.
Our degree assistance program reimburses tuition for employees who are working toward degrees that relate to Suncoast’s business operations. Full time employees are eligible for a maximum reimbursement per calendar year of $5,000, while part-time employees may receive $2,500 per calendar year. If you want to grow in your financial career while earning a degree, this valuable benefit can help you get there!
