Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage
Quality health coverage is one of the most valuable benefits you enjoy as a Suncoast Credit Union employee. Our benefit programs offer several plan options to keep you and your family healthy while providing important protection in the event of illness or injury.
We offer medical, dental, and vision coverage packages individualized to meet your unique needs. You will have access to a variety of supplemental insurance options and benefits.
Coverage Transparency
Paid Time Off
Paid Time Off is accrued during each pay period and the amount earned is dependent on part-time or full-time employment. New full-time employees earn 3 weeks of PTO during their first year.
In addition to regular accruals of PTO, employees are also provided 1 paid day to volunteer in the community, 1 paid day off for their birthday, and additional paid time off to focus on wellness.
Paid Holidays
As a financial institution, Suncoast recognizes all federal bank holidays. Employees receive 11 paid holidays each year.
Employees receive the following paid holidays, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Paid Parental Leave
Paid Parental Leave (PPL) is available for eligible employees to bond and care for a newborn, adopted child, or newly placed foster child.
Employees with at least 3 months of service will be eligible for up to 4 weeks of PPL. The duration of paid leave is determined by the employee’s part-time or full-time status on the start date of their leave.
Retirement Plans
As a financial institution, we understand the importance of retirement planning and recognize the needs required for employees to create the future of their dreams.
Employees are offered a 401(k)-retirement plan. Employees are 100% vested and own the full balance of their 401(k), including the employer match!
Suncoast will match dollar-for-dollar (100%) of employee contributions up to 6%. An additional $.50 to the dollar (50%) match is provided to the employee’s contributions from 7% up to 10%
Degree Assistance Program
The Suncoast Credit Union Degree Assistance Program provides eligible employees with reimbursement for pursuing an applicable degree with an accredited school.
Full-time employees are eligible for a maximum annual reimbursement of $5,000.
Part-time employees are eligible for a maximum annual reimbursement of $2,500.
