Volunteer
We proudly uphold our tradition of supporting the communities we serve. In 2023, Suncoast employees volunteered for 34,000+ hours!
Every October our teams participate in the Pay It Forward Day. The entire organization is encouraged to go into the community and volunteer for a cause of their choice. Departments and employee groups often team up to volunteer together.
We also participate in the Great American Teach-In. In 2023, our employees visited 60 schools and reached 4,587 students!
Employees are provided with 8 hours of paid volunteer time every year.
Student Branches
Our Student-Run Branches allow K-12 students to experience working with Suncoast employees in small credit union branches located within local schools.
Students gain skills and understanding to enhance their resumes and give them a competitive edge when applying for jobs and college.
Academy of Finance (AOF) Internship Program
Our partnership with the Academy of Finance in Hillsborough County Schools provides students from Armwood, Brandon, Chamberlain, and Jefferson High Schools with the opportunity to receive professional development and work experience through our AOF Summer Internship Program.
Collegiate Internship Program
We prioritize education and talent. Our collegiate internship program is offered in various departments and provides college students with valuable hands-on work experience. Students can focus on an area that aligns with their career goals. The 10-week program runs during the spring, summer, and fall semesters and is ideal for junior or senior-level students interested in the financial industry.
